There’s no question that people all around San Diego love craft beer. No only do we have a number of excellent breweries, we also host quite a few craft beer-related events throughout the year. One of them, which is coming up during the second weekend in March, is touted by none other than famous comedic actor, Will Ferrell.

He’s helping to spread the word about the Best Coast Beer Festival, in part because the event’s ticket sales will help support his favorite charity, Cuck Fancer. This charity focuses on young adult cancer and offers financial and social support to cancer patients and survivors. What better reason could you possibly need to attend an event with more than 200 beers?

Of course, all those samples of beer will likely give you the munchies, so you’ll want to make sure you know where their food truck alley is located. Vendors will include Eat Your Heart Out, Bosnian Grill, Super Q, NY Pizzeria, Bread and Cheese Catering, and Devilicious Food Truck. There will also be live music performed by a number of awesome local bands.
