San Diego Winter Brew Fest

San Diego has a thriving craft beer scene. You can enjoy delicious and unique beers in any neighborhood around the city, whether it’s at a tap house, brewery, or local bar. With so many breweries around, it’s only natural that the city is also host to a number of excellent festivals like The San Diego Winter Brew Fest.

Located at the Fleet Science Center in Balboa park, the Winter Brew Fest is an great opportunity to explore what San Diego breweries and other craft beer producers have to offer. With tickets ranging from $40 for advance general admission tickets to $60 for VIP passes the day of the event, it’s an affordable and fun way to experience local beer culture and find other people who enjoy it as much as you do!

More Than 30 Breweries and Live Music, All to Benefit Charity

When you attend the San Diego Winter Brew Fest, the price of your ticket will help support awesome local charities! Both Outdoor Outreach and the San Diego Mountain Biking Association will benefit from your attending this festival. Of course, you will, too!

You can purchase tickets online here. Buying your tickets ahead of time ensures you get to attend, since they could very well sell out. This is, after all, an indoor festival with limited capacity. General admission tickets are only $40 if you buy them ahead of time. The cost goes up to $50 per person at the door, and you can only pay in cash if you want to buy tickets the day of the festival.

Fun for Beer Fans, No Matter Your Favorite Kind of Brew

General admission tickets get you into the festival, from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m., where you can enjoy samples from more than 30 breweries in your special commemorative cup. Enjoy live performances from The Creepy Creeps and Bella Elysee. With so many breweries on site, there will sure to be some samples that you enjoy, and you could even find your next favorite brewery there. There will also be vendors selling sandwiches and snacks.



People who don’t mind paying an extra $10 per ticket can get in at 6 p.m., for a VIP early tasting. This will include a special beer and a cheese sampling. VIP tickets are $50 ahead of time or $60 the day of the event. There will also be discounted, non-drinking tickets available for designated drivers at the door only.
